The Lake County Genealogical Society was formed in 1977. to promote interest in in genealogical and related historical research, and to provide instruction in research techniques and ethics. Also to accumalate manuscripts, documents, records, family histories and other genealogical holdings in the establishment of a library.

If you have a program you would like to present or would like to learn about a subject relating to family research contact Rose -

Everyone interested in researching their families are welcome. A different topic is each week. You do not need to be a member of the Lake County Genealogical Society or member of the LDS church to attend.

If you have a group that would like to start researching their families, the society does offer beginning classes. Time and place to be arranged.
